My Story
I like the philosophy, "Choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life."

Growing up, I thought I would be a dance teacher. Being in dance studio five days a week for eleven years, it was all I knew. Dance is an art of storytelling; to be able to convey a story with no words is a challenge. After years of tough training, I couldn't keep up with the injuries and I had to pivot my career path.

I've been learning a different kind of storytelling at the University of Indianapolis through writing and visual communication (photography & graphic design). I've maintained sharing my love of stories, just in a different way. Check out my portfolio to see my work.

I love to read, and that love grew when I started working at a bookstore. I've joined a community of book lovers; and even though I don't work there anymore, it's a passion of mine to connect with others through books. It's why I started The Book Dragon, a book-related blog.

Stories are pivotal to the human race. We connect, learn, and bond through experiences - real or fictional. I want to share stories, and I know my career will be something I love to do.
